Biography

Dr Sunita Panicker, MBA, PhD, is currently the Professor & Principal of MVM College of Arts Science and Management, Bengaluru. She previously worked as a faculty under the Ministry of Manpower, Oman, during 2018-2020. Prior to that, she was working as an Associate Professor at Christ University (Department of Management Studies, Bengaluru).

She has presented papers at various international conferences including the ones conducted by University Sains Malaysia, Malaysia in January 2015 where she received the best paper award. For the international conference held at Jyothinivas College, Bengaluru she won the best paper award in the year 2014. She has also received the Silver and Gold medals in the Association of Indian Management School (AIMS) conference consecutively in the year 2009 and 2010. She has published several articles on Finance, Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship in international and national journals. Through this immense experience in the field of research, she had been appointed as the Head and the Chairperson of the Deanery Research Cell under the aegis of the Deanery of Commerce and Management.

She served the Department through her expertise at various designations. She has been the Academic coordinator and also the Coordinator for the Christ University Management Association (CUMA). She was the Conference Convener for the conference on “Emerging trends in business” at the Department of Management Studies Christ University in the year 2014. She was the Editor-in-Chief for the Department Magazine and the Coordinator for Christ University Management Alumni Association (CUMAA).

She was with Wipro Technologies for two years and with M.S Ramaiah Institute of Technology for two years. She was associated with Christ University for 16 years. She writes articles in Business World, Vijayavani and other magazines and newspapers. She was the board member of the Young Women Christian Association (YWCA) Bengaluru.

She is the registered guide at Bharathiar University and AMET University for MPhil and PhD students. One of her students was awarded PhD in the year 2019.
