MVM College of Allied health Sciences has participated in a mega free medical camp in collaboration with A.P.J Abdul Kalam Welfare Association, Jeyanagar Bangalore, at Jeyanagar, Bangalore, on 28.02.2021 (Sunday).
Many patients have visited the health camp and utilized the services. The camp covered complete consultation, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular problems like arthritis and osteoporosis, swelling & pain in joints, dislocations, torn ligaments, sprains and strains, tendon injuries, pulled muscles and bursitis ruptured disks, sciatica, nerve problems, disc pain, etc. by the experts from MVM College of Physiotherapy & MVM College of AHS.
More than 2000 people were tested in this camp held on yesterday. Along with this, awareness of prevention of disease related instructions were given by the medical team to the general public.
Team of health experts Dr.Devishree PT, Dr.Ishita PT, Dr.Dolly Das PT, Dr.Das PT, Dr.Dhammick PT, Dr.Pooja Bai & Mrs.Chaitra which was led by Prof.Dr.Prabhu, Principal, MVM College of Physiotherapy & Dr.Shahana, Principal I/C, MVM College of Allied Health Sciences, Yelehanka, Bangalore along with students of MVM College of Allied Health Sciences & MVM College of Physiotherapy.
Apart from treatment, locals were made aware about health and hygiene by the team of experts and doctors. Dr. Devishree has explained the the importance of exercise on reducing blood pressure and sugar level with the people and students.
The free health check up was inaugurated by Smt. Sowmya Reddy, MLA, Jeyanagar Constituency along with other guests Dr.Uday B.Garudachar, MLA, Chickpet Constituency & M.L.Girish, Police Inspector, Tilak Nagar.
The camp was successfully organized by Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Welfare Organization and we thank Mr.Saravana, President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Welfare Organization for his efforts bring social changes.
Mr.Saravana, a committed disciple at Social Service provider, who at the end of the camp has appreciated the sincere and dedicated participation of MVM College team, volunteers and others in facilitating the camp successfully.
