Diploma in Ophthalmology Technology course offered by MVM College of ParaMedical Sciences is affiliated to the Para Medical Board Karnataka and is recognised by the Government of Karnataka.

A candidate is considered eligible for diploma in ophthalmic technology if he/she has got a 10+2 degree. Preference is given to those candidates who have biology in their course.
A minimum of 75% for both theory and practical (regular class) in each subject is required.
As per the guidelines, every student must undergo industrial training to get hands-on experience. The objective being to provide practical knowledge of the applications of theory and to extend the scope of learning.
The internal assessment will be conducted in the college at least twice in a year and the marks list containing the average of these two internal assessments will be submitted to the Board well before the commencement of the Board examination by the Principal.
