Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

BPT or Bachelor of Physiotherapy is a 4 year 6 months  undergraduate course, including compulsory 6 months of clinical internship. Physiotherapy involves the science of physical movement aimed at rehabilitation, prevention of diseases and disability.

Scope for Bachelor of Physiotherapy

  • Higher studies: The completion of the bachelors’ degree course in physiotherapy opens up multiple avenues for further The undergraduate students are eligible for Masters in Physiotherapy in India abroad countries like UK, Australia and New Zealand. They are also eligible to do Doctorate in Physiotherapy in USA, India and other Countries. Apart from this students can also pursue studies in varied streams like MSc Anatomy, Physiology, Post Graduate diploma in sports sciences, Hospital Administration etc.
  • Job Prospects: In India first contact practice and referral practice is possible in The investment needed to set up a basic physiotherapy clinic is meager but has a very huge potential which would enable the professional to lead a successful life.
